The Personnel Information System (PIS) serves as a comprehensive digital tool for the Madhya Pradesh (MP) Police, efficiently managing and maintaining the personnel records of its employees. This fully digitized system enhances operational efficiency by streamlining police work processes.

PIS encompasses a broad range of critical information pertaining to police personnel, including personal details, family information, property records, training history, postings, promotions, leave records, inventory details, loans, salary information, General Provident Fund (GPF) and Dearness Provident Fund (DPF) details, utility bills, pension information, housing allotment records, and data regarding employee retirements and deaths. Additionally, it includes records of demands, deputation and transfer details, new postings, non-movable assets, as well as information about both gazetted and non-gazetted officers. The system also accommodates specifics related to contingency funds, scholarships, suspended pension cases, compensatory appointments, suspensions and terminations, and departmental inquiries.

Moreover, PIS is capable of generating various outputs such as statistical and analytical reports, Management Information System (MIS) reports, sanctions and payments documentation, contingency fund sanction or rejection notices, priority lists for house allotments, area-wise listings of suspended pension cases, details of departmental investigations, monthly suspension reports, and status updates on promotion committees.

The system processes all data electronically with minimal manual intervention in an exceptionally user-friendly manner.
